Where do I begin with describing our Saturday festivities?! The title just about sums it up. We had a very FESTIVE weekend to say the least. Saturday we were lucky to celebrate TWO friends' birthdays. Brennan's 2nd birthday bash was held at The Vineyard's Community Park first thing in the morning. I wasn't really able to talk or catch up with any adult friends because I had to keep my eye on Lexi the whole time. The girl loves to climb! She would run off to the tallest, scariest jungle gym and yell, "HI MAMA!" from the top! All of the kids had a blast at the party and thoroughly enjoyed the ginormous pieces of cake that Brennan's mom Kelly was cutting. :) Kelly even had pumpkins for all the kids to decorate and bring home with them. I thought that was a very cute idea and wonderful activity for the kids, especially this time of year.
Here are some pictures from Brennan's Birthday Bash...
This is the pumpkin decorating table Kelly and her mom Hilda had all set up for the kids...so cute!

Party Hosts: The birthday girl, Snow White, and her brother, one of the dwarfs. So cute!

The kids bouncing their sugar highs off!
We had a fun filled Saturday to say the least. That was the most fun they have had in a very long time. Sunday we got to celebrate ANOTHER birthday. We went to Grandma and Grandpa O'Dean's house to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. We also enjoyed more SUGAR and had brownies and ice cream for dessert!! I don't want to see another cake for quite awhile. That being said; Halloween is Sunday and I have a feeling that will bring more sugar highs and an obsessed mommy scrubbing teeth.
We are very excited to be spending Halloween with the Jarbo's again this year going to door to door in their wonderful, kid friendly, neighborhood. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures of all the kiddos dressed up. I also am hoping our kids keep their costumes on. I'll try to post pictures early next week. Have a safe and happy Halloween!
Love the pictures, Kara! I can't get over how well Devin and Lexi play together. They're perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for celebrating with us! I very much remember the days of chasing Bridget around at parties and play dates. I have a little relief now...she's outgrown that stage and Ross hasn't grown into it yet! Have a great Halloween, can't wait to see your pictures!
